Dear readers, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone.
It has become the season where the air has a refreshing scent of fresh greenery. We will deliver the "The Zen" 2018 Vol. 69 Natsuyama issue.
Thanks to you, Fujikin is celebrating its 88th anniversary of foundation this year.
So, as a special project to commemorate our 88th anniversary of foundation, we welcomed Professor Akira Fujishima as a guest for the opening "Super Talk", who Japan is proud of worldwide as the discoverer of photocatalysist, and he talks about the infinite possibilities of photocatalysist.
Next, we introduced the experts who have level-headed scientific eyes and supported the Meiji 150 years "Dondon, Kagoshima."
For the forefront of cutting-edge technology, Professor Masanori Moritani talks about the application of 5G to manufacturing and service industries.
Professor Kenichi Kamigaito of Comparative Culture gave us a wonderful contribution of "Mt. Fuji as a World Heritage Site."
We interviewed Sugino Machine Limited that is Hokuriku 's especially excellent company about the super unique management, "Biomass Nanofiber" business.
We interviewed the previous Consul General Chonoi Kulanda about the friendship and goodwill between Mongolia and Japan.
For the spirit of Japan, we interviewed Master Kazuo Yoshida, who is a living national treasure in the traditional art of Bunraku puppets. We are also honored with a manuscript about Rokyoku from Professor Junpei Ashikawa who is well known for his NHK commentary.
Following on from the previous issue of Manyo's flowers "Kasuga Taisha Botanical Garden," we are honored with writings from calligrapher Professor Kouran.
We introduced the outline of the customary Koyasan University and Fujikin Shuhei Ogawa Commemorative Lecture, which will be held in Tokyo and Osaka this year.
The Dharma sermon was contributed by the Chief Priest of Kaizoji Temple in Wakayama, Tanabe, Master Tani Genko.
The taste of Zen(膳) is the Buddhist cuisine of Mt. Haguro guesthouse "Daishobo." Mari Fujii introduced the rare guesthouse cuisine of the monks.
This magazine is our country's only "ultra and extreme" networking magazine. We are appreciative of the assistance in promoting this magazine and the contributions made by everyone.

Dear readers, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone.
Early winter, "time waits for no one" and it has become the season we hold dear. Riding the winter wind, we deliver THE ZEN 2017 Vol.68 Snow Mountain Issue.
Our popular super talk that appears at the beginning of every issue is president of the national research and development agency, The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Professor Ryoji Chubachi.
We talked about the many actions that come from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology's mission to restore Japan's society, by supplying research results to the industrial world and leading Japan's research and development.
The 2018 NHK Taiga drama is "Segodon." We questioned Shigakukan University professor, Professor Izumi Haraguchi, about the heroic figure in the Meiji restoration period, Saigou Takamori born in the Satsuma Domain. Also, we interviewed the 32nd head of the Shimazu family and Chairman of Shimadzu Corporation, Nobuhisa Shimazu, and talk about Nariakira Shimazu who opened the way for the current Japan.
For super unique management, we heard about the philosophy of KOKUYO, a leading manufacturer of stationery and office furniture, from the chairman and executive director of KOKUYO CO., LTD., Akihiro Kuroda.
Nationally popular singer Peggy Hayama, who was known for numerous hit songs such as "Nangokutosawoatonishite," passed away suddenly this April, and we heard about the memories of the memorial from the president of Kansai Support, Hisako Yamasaki.
In September this year, I visited the Kasuga Taisha Garden (Manyo Botanical Garden), whose flowers have been in the hearts of the Japanese people since time immemorial. Man'yōshū is our country's oldest collection of poetry. We requested writings by calligrapher, Professor Kouran.
In the customary forefront of advanced technology, Professor Masanori Moritani talks about "the current generation of power on oceans." In the Dharma sermon section, we are honored with manuscripts from the chief priest of Shorinzan Darumaji, Seishi Hirose, titled "Can it be seen or heard?" We also have a summary of the 10th and 11th Koyasan University and Fujikin Shuhei Ogawa Commemorative Lectures.
For the taste of zen, we have Professor Mari Fujii, who introduces "Hachinoki" in Kita-Kamakura.
